About Cariad Drums

The Cariad dream began back in 2012, when I rediscovered my passion for drumming after stopping for almost 15-years. What started as a simple YouTube channel - Leigh Smith Drum Tips - quickly grew into a mission to inspire and support fellow drummers. My goal was to share practical tips, help drummers record their kits at home, and also showcase my own covers of songs.

Fast forward to , and our dream has become a reality. Cariad is home to Cariad Drum Shop, Cariad Custom Drums, and Leigh Smith Drums. Our YouTube channel now boasts over 2,000 subscribers, and we continue to share tips and advice.

Our physical and online shop offers all essentials for drumming - from new and preloved acoustic and electronic kits to individual drums, accessories, and essentials. We also provide drum tuition, room hire, cymbal repairs, e-drum conversions, refurbishments, and custom resprays.
