The Aramid Fibre/Polyester material adds attack and provides unsurpassed durability. Evans bass drumhead patches feature a quality, high-temperature aerospace adhesive that won’t slip or peel once properly applied.
The Aramid Fibre is well known for its use in bulletproof vests, which goes to show its unsurpassed durability.
The unique cross-web/non-woven laminating technique, used also on their Marching Snare Batter and Rock AF heads, provides the full strength of Aramid Fibre while retaining a better feel. The radial slits along the edge of the patch allow the head to vibrate freely, preserving the natural feel of the head.
