The RS1Y is a 14” x 10” snare drum featuring a Mk2 Palladium snare mechanism on the lower head only and a pre-dampened batter head. The compact dimensions and lightweight nature of this marching drum makes it ideal for younger players.
The shell of the RS1Y is crafted from 8-ply, 5mm Grade A Scandinavian Birch, ensuring durability and excellent tonal characteristics. The bearing edges are cut at a precise 45-degree angle, optimizing contact between the drumhead and shell for maximum resonance and sensitivity. The drum features a lower Mk2 Palladium snare mechanism, allowing for precise snare tension adjustments
