The Segmented Black Walnut and Paduak Snare features a unique shell design made from Black Walnut Wood and Paduak Wood. Each ring is constructed from eight segments of different woods: Wenge, Bubinga, Purpleheart, Ash, Oak, Brazilian Cherry, Iroko, and Beech. These segments expose the unique patterns in the timbers, creating a dynamic visual effect as the viewing angle changes. Each ring includes one segment of each of the eight woods used.

The selected woods are chosen for their dense, hard physical properties, making them ideal tone woods that produce a shell bursting with character. Combined with its 14" diameter and depth, this snare drum offers enormous versatility. The shell is finished with a high-gloss lacquer, giving the Black Walnut and Paduak snare an extremely high-quality finish and a stunning appearance.
